Lori Wick is my favourite author from many years ago. This series of four books deals with a family that finds themselves in predicaments that they need to look to their family and the Lord for their help and strength to overcome their dilemma. Romance is involved, yet it also has parts where the people involved need to seek advice and help from others and the Lord, too. This series is cleanly written, has some mild action and resolutions by the end of each book. There are many parts that spoke to my life that encouraged me over the years. If you want to escape from your busy life for a time of easy reading and relaxing enjoyment, this is an excellent pick!
